During the summer Vancouver hosts a fireworks competition in English Bay.
About 300,000 people crowd the streets to watch four countries put on some
incredible shows.
Me (Right), Earl (Left), and Allen (Middle) at a company outing when I
was at Future Shop. About 20 people took a hiking trip to Lighthouse Park
in West Vancouver.
Earl scouts, Allen bird watches, and I recite King Lear.
Heather and I about to leave on a whale watching tour. After spending 45
minutes in a tiny zodiac we finally found a pod of Orcas. Before heading
back we decided to try to get in front of the pod one more time. Well we
did a great job because the whales breached about 30 feet in front of us
and then passed right under our bout. One of the females (No, i don't actually
know it was a female.) rolled while passing in under so she could get a
good look at us.
